Carly has come back. She was adopted with Mr. Softee, but wasn’t playing nice with him, so she has returned. Due to this we believe she would rather be an only cat.

Carly is a seven-year old, indoor, tabby cat. She likes people, is affectionate and will be a wonderful companion.

Tawny, the juvenile, dwarf Dutch bunny, also wants a home for the holidays. She’s been hand raised, is very friendly and adores people.

We’re looking for a few true cat lovers that understand the feline psyche. We have two tabby girls who really need to find homes. Holly has been at the shelter for two years now. A lap cat she’s not, but she does enjoy being with people and has been spending her time in the lobby. She needs a home with a family who will be patient and just allow her to be herself.

Tootsie is an indoor/outdoor cat with white markings, only six-years old. She has her preferences and, if she takes to you, she can be a real sweetheart and very affectionate. She’s up-to-date on all her shots too.

Frank also needs and angel. He’s an older, black cat that came to us as a stray. He’s indoor/outdoor and a purring machine.

Christmas in Edgartown is next weekend and we hope you’ll come and march with us in the parade. More information to be provided in next week’s column.

We welcome the help of adult volunteers to answer the phone, meet and greet people and help with other projects around the building and grounds. If interested give us a call or stop by for more information.
