There is still time for motorists to get in the running for this afternoon’s raffle of Massachusetts license plate number MV 100.

Raffle ticket sales end at 3 p.m. Dec. 16 for the special Martha’s Vineyard plate with a design featuring the Islander ferry and a soaring gull. Costing $25 apiece, or $100 for five, the tickets are available online.

The winning ticket will be drawn at 4:30 p.m., said Mary Korba of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, which is raffling the plate to raise funds for the Island’s social services hub.

“We’re going to livestream the drawing on Facebook, just to make it official,” Ms. Korba told the Gazette Monday morning.

With almost 400 tickets sold, Ms. Korba said, Martha’s Vineyard Community Services has raised $7,775 of its target $10,000 in raffle proceeds, all of which will go toward supporting operations and programming at Community Services.
