While Island schools are on vacation this week, free community lunches are being served at several Martha’s Vineyard libraries. All ages are welcome.
At the Oak Bluffs Library, St. Augustine’s Church is providing lunches from noon to 1 p.m. daily through Friday.
The Vineyard Haven Library is serving soup and bread on Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 1 p.m.
The West Tisbury Library offers homemade soup and bread with vegetables and fruit daily through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
A free community lunch is also served on Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Federated Church in Edgartown, and other Island churches host community suppers Monday through Saturday. Visit the Gazette calendar for details.
