Tisbury voters are invited to a public discussion of the following articles that will appear on the annual town meeting warrant:

• The Vineyard Sustainable Energy Committee’s nonbinding goal to transform the Island’s energy use to all-electric and renewably sourced by 2040;

• The student-led Plastic Free MV article banning the sale of water and soda in bottles sized 34 oz. or smaller;

• The Vineyard Conservation Society’s non-binding article asking Island businesses to stop using polystyrene;

• The town’s proposal to form a committee that will by May 2021 develop an action plan to manage plastic reduction and mitigation.

The forum begins at 5 p.m. March 5 at the Tisbury Senior Center. The annual town meeting takes place March 31 in the school gym and the town election is April 14.
