The Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival celebrates its 20th annual Chilmark film festival on March 26 to 29. This year’s festival includes 30 films, both documentary and fiction, along with short films, kids programming, food and music.

The 2020 festival also features conversations with many of the films’ subjects and creators.

Highlights of the recently announced schedule include two films starring people with disabilities, The Peanut Butter Falcon and Best Summer Ever, and Dream Horse, based on a true story and starring Toni Collette.

Seasonal Chilmark resident Matthew Heineman (Cartel Land, Escape Fire, A Private War) is also back with his Showtime series The Trade, about migrant communities.

The festival also includes free kids’ films, live theatre and the popular Hay Cafe, a tent where festival-goers can relax on hay bales while listening to live music and dining on chef-made meals.
