Martha’s Vineyard Bank is closing all its branches for the weekend in order to reconfigure for social distancing. The bank will reopen Monday morning with drive-through service and videoconferencing, according to an announcement on its website and messages sent to depositors.

“This Saturday’s closing is necessary so that we can rearrange workstations allowing for proper social distancing of all bank employees,” the website announcement reads.

The bank, which has branches Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and West Tisbury, is moving all of its client and customer meetings to the Zoom platform, according to the website, which also offers tutorials for online and mobile banking.
