The Vineyard Trust has canceled its three signature events this year because of concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an announcement from the historic preservation nonprofit Thursday.

The Taste of the Vineyard Gourmet Stroll on June 11, the Patron’s Party and Auction on June 13 and the Generations Picnic July 10 have all been called off. Vineyard Trust president and chief executive officer Funi Burdick said in a statement that the events will be back for the 2021 season.

The Trust owns and maintains Island landmarks including Alley’s General Store in West Tisbury, the Flying Horses Carousel in Oak Bluffs and the Carnegie in Edgartown, all of which remain closed in accordance with the stay-at-home advisory currently in place.
