Morning Glory Farm has announced its closing date for the 2020-2021 season. The farmstand on Meshacket Road in Edgartown will close Feb. 2, with plans to reopen April 1,  according to its social media posts and advertising.

First opened in 1981, six years after Debbie and Jim Athearn founded Morning Glory Farm, the farmstand has traditionally operated from mid-spring until just after the Christmas holidays. This is the first season in which the retail shop has remained open into the next calendar year, and April 1 would mark its earliest-ever spring opening date.
