The Summer Institute series at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center kicks off its season on Thursday, July 8 and continues on subsequent Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. throughout the summer.

Michael Sandel, a philosopher and Harvard professor, opens the series via Zoom on Thursday. The rest of the events will be presented both live and online.

Speakers include Danielle Allen on July 15, Jake Tapper on July 22, George Q. Daley on July 29, Ben Brantley on August 5, and Michael Eric Dyson on August 12.

Programming will be held outside under tents on the Hebrew Center lawn.
