The Chilmark planning board will hold the second in a series of three community meetings to discuss the Peaked Hill Pastures property on Monday, July 26 at 6 p.m.

The property is owned by the town and includes 16.67 acres off Pasture Road. The town plans to develop an affordable housing project on the site in what it is calling a “pocket community” with a mix of rentals and units that are owned outright.

The town has hired consultant Karen Sunnarborg to assist with the planning effort; more information appears on the town website.

The meeting will be held over Zoom (the link for participation is: https://zoom.us/j/95578913898). For those who cannot attend, the meeting will be recorded and available on the town website (https://www.chilmarkma.gov/planning-board/pages/peaked-hill-pastures).

A third community engagement meeting is set for Sept. 20.
