Welcome a cute new canine to our town! Amber Willoughby has adopted the cutest pup. Stella is a 10-week old, redbone coonhound and beagle baby. She is adorable, inquisitive, and loving. I had the pleasure of having them both visit me for most of the morning yesterday. Delightful.

The derby is over. Tough fishing from what I heard. Zach Magid won the boat. Same time, next year.

Good news and bad news last weekend. Red Sox won, Patriots lost. All games were very exciting.

Brian Viera will be celebrated at the P.A. Club on Saturday afternoon. He left us all too soon last summer.

Our condolences go to the family and friends of Frank Welch. Frank passed last week. No one ever said anything bad about Frank, ever. He was a devoted husband, father, friend, boss and motorcycle enthusiast. I remember his many kindnesses to me. There will be a public celebration of life on the afternoon of Sunday Oct. 24 at the Ag Hall. I’ll see you there.
