Celebrate spring with song this weekend as the Island Community Chorus ushers in its 25th anniversary season with two shows.

The chorus is made up of Islanders from all walks of life, and at various stages of life. The common denominator is music and community.

The two shows take place at the Old Whaling Church on Saturday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 27 at 3 p.m.

Peter Boak is back leading the way as director, with accompanist Garrett Brown and special guest, composer Thomas LaVoy.
