The MV Refuse District is conducting a Household Hazardous waste collection on July 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. In the past, volunteers have been provided with a collection site on Chappy at the community center early that Saturday morning to save folks the trip to town. We are still in need of a pickup truck and driver to make the haul to the transfer station near the Martha’s Vineyard airport. You will start at the Chappy Community Center at 7 a.m. and be all done at the transfer station by 11 a.m. Free ride on the Chappy Ferry. Contact Lys Pike at lysmcl@aol.com or 646-385-3629.
