Tisbury residents, town staff, business owners and workers are urged to join the town’s master plan steering committee and Barrett Planning Group (BPG) on Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., for a virtual presentation of key issues facing Tisbury and baseline conditions across town.

Community input is critical to ensure specific elements have not been overlooked, while others are flagged for further exploration, said Martha’s Vineyard Commission planner Dan Doyle, who is helping the town with its master plan process.

“These issues will inform the next phase of master plan work for BPG as they craft strategic recommendations that chart the town’s future for the next 10-15 years,” Mr. Doyle said in an email to the Gazette.

A public comment session will follow the presentation, Mr. Doyle continued.

Zoom info will be posted on the town calendar and the master plan website, he said. Advance registration is requested.

The presentation will be recorded and posted on the Tisbury Master Plan website at tisburymasterplan.com.
