The board of directors at the Farm Neck Foundation has announced its annual grants for 2022. The total amount being awarded to organizations across the Island is $100,175.
Awards were made to: BiodiversityWorks, $3,000; Featherstone Center for the Arts, $4,800; Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary, $6,000; Garden Gate Child Development Center, $2,875; Harbor Homes of Martha’s Vineyard, $5,000; Healthy Aging Martha’s Vineyard, $5,000; Hospice and Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard, $10,000; Island Community Chorus, $3,000; Island Health Care, $15,000; Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society, $5,000; Martha’s Vineyard Center for Living, $4,000; Martha’s Vineyard Museum, $3,500; Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse, $4,000; Media Voices for Children, $5,000; MV Center for Education and Training, $4,000; Polly Hill Arboretum, $15,000; and The Yard, $5,000.
The types of projects range from capital improvements for building construction and repairs, website upgrades and program support for camps, exhibits and education materials.
Farm Neck Foundation is an independent corporation founded in 1979 by Farm Neck Golf Club to provide charitable assistance for the Island community. More information is available at farmneck.net.
