Monica Maxim and Florin Gafencu, of Vineyard Haven, announce the birth of a daughter, Alessia Maria Gafencu, born on Dec. 19 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Alessia weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces at birth. She joins her big brothers Alexander and David.
