Martha’s Vineyard Community Services has announced that donations from its partner The Lazy Frog, the Oak Bluffs game store, have now exceeded $7,900. That figure encompasses two years of the ongoing partnership and surpasses the original goal.
The donations are based on sales of Vineyard-Opoly, the Martha’s Vineyard version of the classic board game Monopoly. Vineyard-Opoly was designed by Lazy Frog owners Sarah and Jake Gifford and sponsored by many Island businesses. For each Vineyard-Opoloy purchased, the Giffords make a donation to Martha’s Vineyard Community Services from The Lazy Frog. The game is available at the Lazy Frog store on Circuit avenue, online and at businesses across the Island.
The store’s donations to Community Services will continue to be made on an ongoing basis.
