On Saturday, Jan. 28, Vineyard Montessori School and the Cambridge School of Weston will hold an information session about independent, private school options for Island students. The event will take place in the meeting room at the Oak Bluffs Library starting at 1 p.m.
Representatives from the two schools will present information about opportunities for students from elementary school through middle and high school.
Vineyard Montessori School staff will discuss the school’s mission and commitment to a diverse community for grades one through eight as well as the application process and scholarship opportunities.
Rosanna Salcedo, a dean at Cambridge School of Weston, will discuss day and boarding opportunities for high school students. Topics will include how to identify the right school for a child, seeking out, applying for and paying for private education, and the Cambridge School of Weston’s academic offerings and student activities.
