Voting for the Tisbury Select Board’s interim third member takes place Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m. in the town’s Emergency Services Facility on Spring street.

Four people are competing to fill the seat left open in October after Larry Gomez stepped down for health reasons, leaving a two-handed board of John Cahill and chair Roy Cutrer.

Marine engineer Christina Colarusso and retirees Donald Rose 2nd, Abbe Burt and Bruce Campbell are vying to serve out the rest of Mr. Gomez’s term, which is up for re-election on May 9.

Ms. Colarusso, 32, serves on the Tisbury sewer advisory committee and is facilities manager and wastewater operator at the Martha’s Vineyard Airport.

Mr. Rose, 65, a retired deputy sheriff, is on the board of the town’s council on aging.

Ms. Burt, 78, serves on the town’s affordable housing committee and the community preservation committee.

Mr. Campbell, 80, has served in the past on town bodies including the finance and advisory committee.

The seat will once again be up for grabs for a full term at the election on May 9, which arrives two weeks after the annual town meeting on April 25.
