During March, the West Tisbury Public Library will present a new exhibit titled Taking Shape in Space. The display in the community room features paintings by Fan Ogilvie and photographs by Paige Taylor.

Ms. Ogilvie, an Island poet, was initially intimidated by painting but found her way to drawing, pastels and then painting. Paige Taylor is a West Tisbury resident who utilizes computer software to create avant-garde modern art to convey themes of feminine beauty, power, chaos and grace.

The exhibit can be viewed during library hours through March 31. An exhibit reception open to the public will be held Sunday, March 5 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The library is located at 1042 State Road in West Tisbury.
