The Mansion House Inn has hired Sam Tyree as its new general manager. Mr. Tyree is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and has worked at prestigious hotels and private clubs in Rhode Island and New York city, including The Lotos Club and The River Club, as well as work within the Hilton Hotels chain. He and his family have moved to Vineyard Haven in time to begin the busy summer season for the hotel, spa and fitness center.

Mansion House is located at the corner of State Road and Main street in Vineyard Haven. The Goldstein family, headed by Sherman and Susan, has owned The Mansion House since 1985. Mr. Tyree is only the fourth person to hold the position of general manager under the Goldstein’s ownership.
