Nicole Gazaille-Graves, a captain in the Dukes County sheriff’s office, has been recognized as Supervisor of the Year by the Massachusetts Communications Supervisors Association and the Massachusetts State E-911 Department.

Dukes County Sheriff Robert Ogden announced the award on April 13, a day after Ms. Gazaille-Graves was recognized at the 911 Goes to Boston event at the State House.

Ms. Gazaille-Graves was selected after review of many candidates from across the state. She has more than 24 years of experience with the Dukes County Regional Emergency Communication Center and is recognized for her work ethic, positivity and team spirit.

The statewide recocognition is awarded to a nominated, committee-selected telecommunications supervisor during National Public Safety Telecommunications Week. observed every second week in April.
