We have no adoptions to report, but we do have a dog that really needs a good home. Teddy is about five years old. He’s a short haired, mixed breed who is a mid-sized model. His markings are brindle and white, and he’s a happy dog that loves to play and loves his toys. Teddy does have some issues and has been undergoing training, which will need to be continued by his new family. Stop by and meet Teddy; he’s a real charmer.

Snort is still here. She’s such a lovely cat, stunningly beautiful and sweet as can be. Snort is a 13-year-old, Persian cat with tri-color (calico) markings, and eyes of different colors. She has lived with both cats and dogs, but would rather be an only pet so she can get all the loving. Come meet her and fall in love; she deserves to be in a loving home.

Also still available are Peter and Teddy —seven-month-old, black male rabbits. They have been hand-raised and are litter box trained. They are both very friendly and love to be held and cuddled. And they’re happy living indoors or out.

The 14th Annual Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard Garden Party will be held on Monday, June 26 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. There is an online auction, live auction, a ticket table and our famous jewelry table. For more information, or to purchase tickets visit animalshelterofmv.org. We hope to see you there.

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be a perfect fit.
