Good news! Edgartown Seafood will now deliver to Chappy Point. Place your order by calling the shop at 508-627-3791 with a credit card before 3 p.m. and they will meet you at the ferry on the Chappy side at 5:30 p.m. They have more than just fish!

Between Slip Away’s farm stand, the Blackbird food truck, Jerry’s Store and Edgartown Seafood, you can put together three meals a day without leaving Chappy. If you need to get fancy, walk just a couple of blocks from the ferry and you can stock up on fudge, soda pop, wine, ice cream and flip-flops for your guests. And if you were really smart, those guests arrived by Pied Piper right at Memorial Wharf.

The Chappaquiddick Island Association’s annual meeting will be held Saturday, July 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the community center. This is an opportunity to discuss all things Chappaquiddick, from the ferry to the beaches, from ticks to emergency preparedness. Everyone is welcome as are your questions and your input. Those unable to attend in person can check the CIA website for a Zoom link.

Make sure to check the Chappy Community Center calendar often, either online or in person on the CCC bulletin board, for lots of events and activities. Don’t miss the chance to see all of your friends at once at the summer potluck fundraiser BBQ on Thursday, July 27 from 6 to 10 p.m. Grilling items will be provided. Bring a side dish or dessert.
