We had snow! There were people that were happy and some not so much. I think it is the official start of the holiday season.

It was a busy Thanksgiving weekend. A lot of people traveled and some stayed in the comfort of their own home. The boats had a few issues, but they handled it the best they could and people did get to their destination.

I personally traveled to Swansea to spend Thanksgiving with my family, but the main event of the weekend was celebrating my brother Frank and wife Linda’s 60th wedding anniversary.

The party was held at Mesa 21 in Fall River, put on by their three children Debbie, Cheryl and Doug. Seven of their nine grandchildren were present, and their five great grandchildren were also there. Family and friends also joined in the festivities and among them were their maid of honor and best man Holly and Russell Neville. It was a celebration to be remembered for a long time.

Jim and Barbara Reynolds traveled to Connecticut to be near their son Alex who lives in Connecticut, and daughter Liza who lives in New York.

Now the race is on to get decorated for Christmas in Edgartown. It is a favorite of many and there is something for everyone. Check the events and happenings and I am sure you will find something to enjoy.

Have a great week and keep the home candles burning.
