Seabreezes, the magazine published by students at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, has been recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English as a magazine of distinction.

The recognition was made through Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) Contest, which supports excellent literary magazines published by students with support from their teachers. The program encourages all schools to develop literary magazines celebrating the art of craft and writing. For 2023, 375 middle school, high school and higher education-level magazines from 46 states and five countries were nominated.
