Wild and weird weather. I suggest any seasonal residents who have an Island home should have someone check it. There has been a lot of flooding, a lot of beach erosion and a canoe was seen paddling through Five Corners last weekend. Lucy Vincent Beach sustained much erosion. Katama is certainly different. The Steamship Authority cancelled many boats because of winds. Many Islanders were scurrying for motels when they were marooned off-Island last weekend.

Spring can’t come soon enough.
