The adult tennis players at Airport Fitness and Tennis took on the boys and girls high school tennis teams in the annual Island Club event on Sunday, April 28. The adult tennis players defeated the high schoolers 4-1 to remain undefeated since the event began.

Laina Dubin and Zak Potter were the only high school players to win their match beating Megan Farrell and Mike Santouro 6-4, 6-3.

Playing first boys/mens doubles MVHS Kyle Levy and Otis Foresster lost to Michael Wexler and Andrew Grant 6-1. 6-2.

At second doubles MVHS Tommy Flynn and Roger Schilling lost 6-3, 6-4 to Gary Rome and Quadri Okunuga.

Playing first girls/women’s doubles MVHS Zoe Treitman and Leah Thompson played lost 6-0, 6-1 to Beth Kostman and Skye Sonneborn.

And in second doubles MVHS Sofia Balsas and Ella Moran lost 7-5, 6-2 to Kelley Crisp and Jessica Cushman.
