The Martha’s Vineyard Film Society opens its annual environmental film festival on May 23 with Every Little Thing about a woman living in Los Angeles who nurtures wounded hummingbirds.

The festival runs for through May 26, and is done in collaboration with the Vineyard Conservation Society. Ten films will be shown over the four-day period, all highlighting the environment and people working to save the planet.

Opening day also features Songs of the Earth, an audio-visual composition of the earth’s primordial forces. For a full schedule and tickets, visit
