We’re delighted to report that Guinea pig, Miley Cyrus, has had adoption finalized. Congratulations to Cyrus and her new family.

Our pet of the week is Toosie, a four-year-old, male tuxedo cat with big green eyes. Toosie is indoor/outdoor, friendly, playful and affectionate. Since he can get over stimulated, we feel he would do best in a home without small children. And he also has a lovely purr. Toosie has been diagnosed with diabetes and will need an owner comfortable with giving his daily injections and managing his special diet. He is also a food lover and will steal some whenever he can. Come meet Toosie to experience how much fun he is and see if he could be the perfect cat for you.

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be a perfect fit. Also, if anyone is in need of cat food, dog food or a crate, we have plenty and are happy to share. The Island Food Pantry also has pet food for those in need.
