Jim Kweskin is coming to the Vineyard to perform on June 4 at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum in Vineyard Haven. This is big news as many count Jim Kweskin’s Jug Band as one of the most influential bands of the 1960s. Indeed, the formation of the Grateful Dead may have never occurred without Mr. Kweskin.

Mr. Kweskin has a long history with the Vineyard. Back in the day Carly Simon used to open for him at the Mooncusser Coffee House, among many other engagements.
