Jay Lagemann is hosting a sculpture garden party on Saturday, July 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. Mr. Lagemann is perhaps best know for the Swordfish Harpoon sculpture installed in Menemsha 25 years ago as part of the 1994 Chilmark tricentennial.

His polychrome steel Swinging Jenny has been a fixture at the Field Gallery in West Tisbury as well as people’s lawns and gardens all over the U.S. Since 1991 he has crafted over 150 Swinging Jennys.

The reception takes place at 18 Wequobsque Road in Chilmark.
