My tribe of turkeys continues to visit twice daily. I want to thank all of you who gave me advice on how to deal with Broken Wing. While I was never able to capture him and apply a sling I must say he is doing much better. His wing seems to have healed on its own. Lots of love and treats from us and he is good to go.

I am pleased to announce that after a concentrated effort on the part of many volunteers the puppy Lexi has been found. She is safe and back in the arms of her family.

Last year’s party raised $20,000 for this important cause. There will be an information table as well as great music and camaraderie.

Get well wishes to Karen Gerlach who is recovering from shoulder surgery. I ran into her, bright and sunny as usual, at our bank yesterday. She is able to drive again.
