Rambling roses climb over Edgartown fences. Tim Johnson

Sunday, July 5, 2020

Summer is in full flower, with hot, humid weather on its way and wildflower fields and cutting gardens in peak bloom. Pink, white and blue hydrangeas are voluptuous and varied, from the lacecap variety to the huge blue globes that are so beautiful in arrangements. Masses of black-eyed Susans, yarrow and coneflowers fill the eye, against a backdrop of distant Nantucket Sound, also in bloom with sailboats, windsurfers and fishing crafts, their occupants in hot pursuit of summer flounder and striped bass.

I look forward to your beautiful weekly visual display especially since this is our first summer in over 30 years not to be enjoying our Edgartown home. I’m hoping you’ll add one of Sweetened Water farm and it’s beautiful barn in a future collection, Thank you for sharing these and making Saturday mornings special,
