Lucille G. Whitman of St Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Edgartown, died August 17 after a brief illness. She was 91.

ucille was truely a wonderful woman who will live on in the hearts and minds of all the people who knew her so in a sense she's not really gone -- In my minds eye I can see her walking down Main Street with Sue in a baby buggy of some kind. Condolences to her girls and extended family, its a big loss. Its been years since I've seen her, and I'm silently thinking of her and saying au revoir.
