A pair of new grants will support educational and job training at Adult and Continuing Education of Martha's Vineyard, according to an announcement from ACE MV.
The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) has awarded $128,140 over two years. According to the announcement, the funds will support the offshore wind technician certificate program as well as the planning process for a new marine science credential program teaching environmental, coastal and fisheries skills.
ACE MV is seeking expert marine industry support and input for the new program, according to the announcement. Individuals interested in serving on the marine science advisory board should contact executive director Holly Bellebuono at holly@acemv.org.
Santander Bank, N.A. has awarded $10,000 to support ACE MV’s Career Pathway work with high school youth and young adults, according to the announcement.
