On Saturday, April 9, the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Track & Field team will host the April Fools’ Day-ish 5K Run/Walk. Proceeds from this USATF-certified race will support the team's expenses.

The event begins at  10 a.m. and will start in front of Washington Park in Oak Bluffs. It winds through East Chop with views of the ocean and East Chop Lighthouse.   

Pre-registration is $25. Race day registration is from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in Washington Park and is $30 per runner. The fee includes a t-shirt for the first 100 participants. To pre-register or donate go to runsignup.com/Race/MA/OakBluffs/AprilFoolsDayish5KRunWalk
