A look at the Vineyard Artisans webpage reveals an alphabetical tapestry of local creators, featuring painters, sculptors, woodworkers, jewelry makers, leather experts. The list goes on and on, in color, texture and imagination.

But checking out a website can only take one so far. Much better is the personal experience, and this weekend the first Artisans Festival of the season moves into the Grange Hall in West Tisbury, on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday May 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
