Maria Shea Moody, formerly of West Tisbury, died on Oct. 11 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, where she was a resident of Windemere Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center. She was 89.

She was predeceased by her husband Kaye Hollis Moody in July of 2006.
