We have no adoptions to report this week and we’re quite surprised that Persian cat Snort is still here, given her beauty and sterling personality. But we do have two new residents that we will be featuring this week.
Our featured pets are Peter and Teddy, two six-month old, black, male rabbits. These boys are hand-raised, litter box-trained and very friendly, Peter even enjoys being held. As a bonus they’re both indoor-outdoor. Any rabbit lovers out there that can provide homes for these boys?
Also still available is Snort, the 13-year old, tri-color (calico) Persian with one brown and one golden eye. She is very sweet, gentle, affectionate and still enjoys playtime. And she has the softest coat! She has lived with both dogs and cats but would probably be happiest as an only pet. This girl is up to date on everything and ready to go, so c’mon Persian lovers: come get this lovely girl. She deserves to be in a loving, forever home.
Our other resident is Alice, a two-year old, torbi and white cat who is a really loving yet funny girl who is extremely playful. She adores people and enjoys a comfy lap to sit in, but she would do best with an experienced cat owner since she believes she’s the one in charge.
For new puppy owners, we will be hosting a six-week puppy class with Jeremy Jones beginning on Sunday, May 21 at 9:30 am. The cost for the six-week session is $240. Class size is limited to 10. Contact the shelter for more information.
Looking for a gift for the person or people who have everything? Please consider making a donation to the shelter in their name(s). It’s the perfect gift for any occasion.
