The Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Creative Living Award. The award recognizes members of the Vineyard community who have contributed significantly to the quality of Island life. The deadline to receive nominations is July 16.

The award is made through the Ruth J. Bogan and Ruth Redding Fund, established in 1983. It supports the organizations that were meaningful to Ms. Bogan and recognizes members of the community sharing her “creativity and ingenuity” in many fields. Award recipients receive a $1,000 honorarium from the fund.

To propose a nominee, a description of the person’s contributions to Island life and how they personify the qualities of Ruth Bogan will be required. Nominations can be made online at marthasvineyardcf.org; through an email sent to info@marthasvineyardcf.org; or in hard copy sent to P.O. Box 243, West Tisbury, MA 02575.

The award will be presented at an event hosted by the Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation at a date to be determined.
