A Vineyard Transit Authority bus sideswiped a minivan on Lambert's Cove Road in West Tisbury Saturday afternoon, according to the West Tisbury police.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. and resulted in no injuries or charges.

The crash occurred when the bus, which carried no passengers, drifted too far into the middle of the road, and scraped a minivan headed in the opposite direction, police Sgt. Jeremie Rogers said. None of the three minivan passengers were injured.

The VTA driver was given a written warning.
