Causeway Road and Lagoon Pond Road in Vineyard Haven will be closed to non-resident traffic during the three-day Beach Road Weekend festival later this month, according to an announcement from the Tisbury Police Department.

From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on August 25, August 26 and August 27, Causeway Road will be closed from State Road to Skiff avenue and Lagoon Pond Road will be closed from Five Corners to Skiff avenue.

Parking passes for Causeway Road and Lagoon Pond Road residents and guests are available for pickup at the police station, which also has official No Parking signs, according to the announcement.

There will also be parking restrictions in the area around Veterans Memorial Park from August 15 to Sept. 1, according to the announcement.

No parking will be allowed at the park’s vehicle entrance, on Lagoon Pond Road between the entrance and Safe Harbor Marina or at the Causeway Road parking area, although limited parking will be available on Causeway between 7 p.m. and midnight during the two and a half week period.
