ArtCliff Diner Is Back and Better Than Ever

The ArtCliff Diner parking lot was full 15 minutes before opening time Thursday morning, and a long line of diners stood outside, excited to sit back down at the beloved Island restaurant that reopened after an almost two-year closure for renovations.

Memories flooding back when my first paying boss. David M, brought some co-workers here for breakfast instead of sending us home in case the sun returned and might have some customers. The business is like the Islander, the lighthouse on Telegraph Hill, even the Flying Horses or the umpteenth viewing of Jaws, hearing Carly Simon singing, .....
