Two Vineyard table tennis players competed in the North American Teams Table Tennis Championship and made it to the quarter final round.

Alena Wen and Rod Backus, members of the Martha’s Vineyard Table Tennis Club, paired up with two players from the Boston Phoenix Table Tennis Club to form a team entry and made it the round of eight. They played 26 games over three days during Thanksgiving weekend, competing against players in the 1250 to 1600 national ranking levels.

The table tennis club plays weekly at the regional high school and weekends at the YMCA. Anyone is welcome to join.
