My deepest sympathy to the Rogers family and the many friends,Islanders who adored Leigh.I knew him for over 40 years, close friends with his sister Becky. Leigh would do anything without fear, always with a smile.Late 80's I worked for Vineyard Tree Service,he had all of us, including the police detail in stitches when all you could see was Leigh's back end from behind the chipper.Everyone knows you toss, throw the branches in to avoid a scene from the movie Fargo. Islanders will do anything to survive the winter season, back then even more so.Leigh was a perfect example of the island spirit and hard work ethic. We'll miss seeing him everywhere on his bike, always a quiet hello with his huge brown eyes. RIP my friend.
