The Chappaquiddick Island Association annual meeting is this coming Saturday, August 3 at 9 a.m. at the Chappy Community Center. It’s always interesting and always informative.

The Chappy Store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Blackbird Food truck is open the same hours excepting on Tuesday and Wednesdays when it closes at 1 p.m.

The annual meeting of the Chappaquiddick Community Center board of directors will be held at the CCC on Saturday, August 17 from 9 to 10 a.m. The nonprofit organization known as Chappy Community Ferry will hold a public presentation on Saturday, August 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the CCC regarding Chappy Ferry future ownership and operation.

The CCC 2025 calendar photo contest is underway. Stop in to vote for your favorites. The summer concert series presents Irving Berlin meets jazz on Saturday, August 10.
