Cyril (Cy) Brigish, 56, a vibrant spirit known for his infectious smile, died after a courageous battle with liver cancer on Nov. 12.

Born in London with Down’s Syndrome, Cy faced numerous health challenges but thrived, earning American citizenship and over 100 medals in the Special Olympics.

He cherished summers at Camp Jabberwocky and loved music, dancing and baseball.

Cy’s warmth and humor touched many lives, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness.

He is survived by his father Alan, brother Hal, sister Jackie and devoted caregiver Cathy Morton.

His story is celebrated in Susan Klein’s book Joyce’s Way.
