Saints and Sinners

Calling all Minnesingers, past and present! Your dulcet tones linger in our memories, but what about your photos of concerts and travels with the minstrels? Those are harder to recall. That’s why the Minnesingers needs your help.

In celebration of the group’s 45th anniversary this year, director Jan Wightman is putting together a Saints and Sinners show, featuring songs by composers from the countries the Minnesingers have visited, as well as a dance portion based on the seven deadly sins. Ms. Wightman plans to present the songs with slide shows showcasing former members and scenes from the Minnesingers’ travels. If you have photos you would like to share, e-mail jwightman@mvyps.corg.
