The Martha’s Vineyard Youth Leadership Initiative has announced the nominees for its 2012 Youth Leadership Summit.

The nominees are: Shavanae Anderson, Sivana Brown, Kevin Joseph Burchill, Alexandra Clark, Julia Cooper, Je’Vaughn Crooks, Katherine Donegan, Bella El-Deiry, Sam Entner, Naomi Felix, Imani Foster, Elizabeth Francis, Avery Hazell, Micheli Lynn, Benjamin Lukowitz, Ella Mahoney, Lilly Neville, Lucy Norris, Olivia Ogden, Mary Ollen, Sam Oslyn, Charlie Pikor, Marcanthony Piland, Kendall Robinson, James Roddy, Raz Sayre, Shivonne Schofield, Zana Van Rooyen, Isabelle Wadleigh and Colby Weron.

An orientation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, at 2:10 p.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. Young people from the initiative program will share their experiences from last year’s Youth Leadership Summit and inspire other young people to join them. The final orientation will be held on May 30. This year’s Youth Leadership Summit will be held June 23-29.
